About Bras d'Or Seniors & Pensioners Club

At Bras d'Or Seniors & Pensioners Club, we strive to create a welcoming community that promotes diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all. Our mission is to provide a space where members can connect, learn, and grow together.

 In 1975, representing 8 communities, the club was opened by Wes Stubbert , president Marie Howley and a new executive, a small group of like-minded individuals who wanted to make a positive impact in their community. Since then, we have grown into a thriving organization. 

We offer a variety of activities and events for our members, including volunteer opportunities, social gatherings, and educational workshops. Our goal is to provide something for everyone and create a sense of belonging for all.  We are looking forward to multiple events in 2026 as we celebrate our 50th. anniversary.
